We have a cover for Magnitude - The Awakening of Nepal!

Good news! We have a cover!
After several great submissions, Magnitude - The Awakening of Nepal is now adorned with a cover image that brings the work to life. The beautiful work was created by Sheenah Freitas, who used public commons images, and a photo contributed by Bryson Stone to put together this amazing cover.
I thank all of the members of Indies In Action (IIA) for their dedication, hard work and participation as we all came together to help select this winning look.

Charity Announced by Indies In Action

Indies In Action (IIA) is proud to announce that after much consideration, the charity we are going to donate their proceeds to is GlobalGiving. This charity foundation has a top rating from the Better Business Bureau, and has a four-star rating with Charity Navigator.

All of the money generated by the fund-raising anthology Magnitude - The Awakening of Nepal will go directly to GlobalGiving. Whenever anyone purchases a paperback or electronic copy, their purchase will be put to good use, and they will have something to show for their contribution.

COVER TIME! Magnitude - The Awakening of Nepal needs a cover. Do you have one in mind?

Right now, the Indies In Action (IIA) group is humming along nicely as we put together another international anthology, this time to help the survivors of the great earthquake, which struck Nepal on April 25th, 2015. The name of this anthology is Magnitude - The Awakening of Nepal. The response from poets, photographers, artists and supporters has been strong, as always. The submissions phase is wrapped up, and we are now into the actual making of the book.
At this moment, people are presenting various different covers for the group to review.
The feedback from this system is powerful and extremely useful. If you are an interested artist, or if you know one, please share this information or contact me or an administrator to join the IIA Facebook group. It is invite-only as we work on the anthology.
A special thanks goes to not only the contributors of fine work and those who participate frequently in the posts, but to the tireless volunteers who make up the administrative team - Maria Edwards[FB], Elizabeth Esguerra Castillo[FB] and Kiriti Sengupta[FB] for their professional and dedicated approach to the project. Going forward, you can expect other volunteers to be mentioned, who have made a distinct mark on the process. Without these folks, and their loyalty to IIA, this project would be much harder to complete. If you decide to join the group, be sure to look up any of us if you have questions or comments. Thanks!
